BEST OF 3: Your Book Recommendations – WANTED!

Wanted: Your Book Recommendations!

I get asked all the time to recommend my favourite books … So I thought I’d open the site to EVERYONE’S recommendations of what books they’ve enjoyed *and* why — WITHOUT SPOILERS (more details, please see T & Cs, below).

I’m calling it “Best of 3”

Authors, book bloggers AND readers can email me their recommendations in the following format (just copy & paste). Your ‘Best of 3’ needs to be based around a theme of some kind:

  • NAME:
  • WEBSITE &/OR SOCIALS:
  • BOOK 1 – TITLE & AUTHOR:
  • WHY I LIKE IT:
  • BOOK 2 – TITLE & AUTHOR:
  • WHY I LIKE IT:
  • BOOK 3 – TITLE & AUTHOR:
  • WHY I LIKE IT:
  • BIO: 1-2 lines, plus links to your sites, profiles, books etc

TERMS & CONDITIONS /FAQs

1. Books recommended need to be based around a theme. These themes can genre-based, the types of characters featured, the authors who have written them — anything you like! Check out the links above or previous ‘Best of 3s’ for inspiration.
2. Authors’, readers’ and book bloggers’ recommendations welcome. We love brevity here – so try and keep your recommendations under 300-500 words total for the whole article!
3. If you’re a book blogger or keen reviewer on other sites like GoodReads or Amazon, then by all means include links to your more detailed reviews (though if they include spoilers, please indicate).
4. Recommended books do not have to be recently published; they can be classics or your old favourites, too.
5. All books welcome, including traditionally AND self-published. ‘Best of 3s’ need to be in English, with the books available in English too (translated fiction is fine though).
6.  Authors: please don’t recommend your own books in your ‘Best of 3’. However, you can link to your book and sites in your bio. Readers and book bloggers, feel free to link to your sites, profiles and blogs in your bios too.

LOOKING FORWARD TO READING YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS!
